Texas College is scheduled to officially name the newly constructed dormitory on campus. The new resident hall will bear the name Gilmore – Hartley Hall, in honor of Bishop Marshall Gilmore and Mr. Bill “B.G.” Hartley for their contributions to the College. The ceremony will take place Thursday, October 26, 2017 at 10:00 A.M. on the Texas College campus, in front of the new resident hall.
The dormitory, itself, is a coeducational living quarters with four floors (1 & 2- Female, 3 & 4 – Male) with nearly 250 beds. The Hall features a quad-suite style to house four students. The suite houses two separate bedrooms, one common area, two bathrooms, and a vanity and sink in each room. Each floor allows access to a computer lab, lounge, and laundry area for student use.
