The Alabama A&M men's basketball team will officially kick off the summer by hosting Donnie Marsh's Basketball camp, which will be held from June 12-15 at the T. M. Elmore Gym.
The camp is open to boys and girls in the 2nd through 12th grade and will run from 8 a.m. to 4 p.m. throughout the week.
The cost of the camp is $130 per participant, which includes a daily lunch and a camp t-shirt. An award ceremony will take place on the last day of camp.
The men's basketball camp is geared toward building a foundation for development. Fundamental and advanced techniques in ball handling and dribble moves; shooting and passing; rebound; offensive skill work and defensive concepts; and an emphasis on a team first approach, will be a part of the daily program.
"We are excited about our first opportunity to get young bulldogs into the fold and have them learn from our staff," Head Coach Donnie Marsh said. "We are excited about getting kids on campus and in Elmore Gym so they can learn some things about the game.
Campers are asked to bring a t-shirt, gym shorts and gym shoes.
Registration can be completed online by clicking here or in-person on the first day of camp from 7-8:00 a.m.
