Alabama State University's SBDC and Ala. Revenue Dept. to Host Free Tax Workshop for Businesses (1202 hits)


Revenue officials will discuss Alabama business tax legislation & answer questions relating to tax law and filing in Alabama

ASU's Small Business Development Center offers expert/professional assistance to businesses in the River Region -

WHEN: Thursday (Nov. 30) from 11 a.m. - 1 p.m.
WHERE: The Montgomery Area Chamber Business Resource Center, 600 S. Court St, Room 460.

Small business owners can get free professional advice on how to best manage their taxes and ask tax law questions by the very agency that oversees them for the state if they attend Thursday's free ASU Small Business Tax Workshop, which is titled: "What New Business Owners Need to Know."

The Thursday (Nov. 30) event is sponsored by Alabama State University's Small Business Development Center (SBDC) and the Alabama Department of Revenue, and the workshop will be held from 11 a.m. to 1 p.m. at the Montgomery Area Chamber Business Resource Center, 600 S. Court Street, Room 460. Participants must register to attend.

This workshop will feature representatives from the Alabama Department of Revenue who will introduce participants to Alabama business tax legislation and will answer questions relating to tax law and filing in Alabama.This is a brown bag lunch so everyone is encouraged to bring their own food and drink.
