Texas College will be “kicking-off” their Religious Emphasis Week with an ecumenical worship Sunday, February 11th, at 4:00 P.M. The event will be held in the Gus F. Taylor Gymnasium. Texas College was founded by a group of Christian Methodist Episcopal (CME) ministers to provide not only academic development, but spiritual development as well; thus, Religious Emphasis Week is vital to the institution as they believe they are operating within the founding principles of the college. By hosting the ecumenical worship, Texas College invites not only the Tyler community, but the East Texas community, faculty/ staff, alumni, current students, friends, and family of the college.
