Texas College Track and Field Headed Back to Nationals
The Texas College Track and Field Team is headed back to the National Championship Meet. With stellar performances early in the season, these student-athletes have already qualified to compete at the national meet scheduled for May 22-27, 2018 in Gulf Shores, Alabama.
Listed below is the student-athlete's name and the event they qualified for.
Eddie Shoots - 400 meter hurdles, currently ranked #1 in the NAIA nation.
Angel Miles - 100 meters, 200 meters, currently ranked #6 in the 100 and #8 in the 200 in the NAIA nation.
Jeremiah Thompson, Andre Jefferson, Eddie Shoots, Devanta Thompson, and alternate Shakur Johnson - 4 x 100 meter relay, currently ranked #11 in the NAIA nation.
Ryan Woodard - High Jump, currently ranked #5 in the NAIA nation.
Andre Jefferson - Long Jump, currently rankled #2 in the NAIA nation.
Jamison Wooden - Triple jump, currently ranked #7 in the NAIA nation.
