LAKEITH STANFIELD GETS BEST SUPPORTING OSCAR NOMINATION (3835 hits)
Lakeith Stanfield has been nominated for best supporting actor for his performance in Warner Bros’ “Judas and the Black Messiah.” Stanfield portrays William Oneil the FBI informant that betrays the trust of his friend Fred Hampton, who is played by his fellow nominee and Oscar frontrunner Daniel Kaluuya.
Judas and the Black Messiah earned a total of six Oscar nominations, including Best Picture, Best Original Screenplay, Best Cinematography, and Best Original Song. The movie is the first Best Picture nominee in the Oscars’ 93-year history to boast all Black producers.
