Glover has a distinguished career working at Historically Black Colleges and Universities (HBCUs). Glover was formerly the dean of the College of Business at Jackson State University, where she led the college through the accreditation process and spearheaded the implementation of the nation’s first Ph.D. in business at an HBCU.

Prior to working at Jackson State, Glover served as chairperson of the department of accounting at Howard University.

Glover’s undergraduate career took place at Tennessee State University where she earned a Bachelor of Science, followed by earning an MBA at Clark Atlanta University. Glover then completed her doctorate in business from George Washington University and her law degree from Georgetown University.

Glover’s past employment also included the roles of vice president and chief financial officer of an engineering firm, a tax manager at a major public utility company and an accountant with a Big-Four CPA firm.

Glover has also served as a corporate board member of three publicly traded corporations, including Citigroup-Student Loan Corporation, Pinnacle Financial Partners and First Guaranty Bancshares. Glover is also the author of more than 100 articles and papers and is regarded as one of the nation’s experts on corporate governance.
