Position Description

The Department of Mathematics at the College of Charleston invites applications for mathematics adjunct faculty position, to establish a pool for adjunct faculty assignments.

Adjunct assignments may be temporary, part-time, and/or on-call and may be immediate or as needed. This job posting is not for a specific assignment or for a full-time faculty position, but rather for a pool of candidates who may be considered for part-time teaching for the fall and spring semesters. Duties primarily include teaching a variety of general education 100-level courses.

MINIMUM QUALIFICATIONS:
Applicants should have a master’s or doctorate degree in mathematics or a closely related field, with a minimum of 18 credit hours in graduate-level mathematics courses, preferable with experiences in teaching college algebra, calculus, and/or statistics.
