DESCRIPTION OF DUTIES
  • Leads coordination and supports the planning, execution and project management of Product Marketing projects, including large-scale consumer-facing events and competitions across multiple franchises and game genres.
  • Supports the planning, execution and project management of large-scale consumer-facing events and competitions and leads overall event coordination and logistics
  • Coordinates communication, logistics and deliverables among internal Nintendo teams and with outside business partners for the execution of events
  • Ensures strict adherence to internal policies and procedures and leads coordination of all necessary documentation, including action memos, non-disclosure agreements, player agreements, tournament rules, etc.
  • Coordinates approvals for overall tactics including video, print and other assets among outside partners, internal teams and stakeholders, department leadership and Nintendo Company Limited (NCL)
  • Applies input and feedback from key stakeholders including NOA executives, NOA and NCL management, development teams, supervisors, and other teams and partners for successful event production and execution
  • Trains on-site event staff on rules, event staff on roles, responsibilities, rules and overall execution of events and competitions and technical operation of hardware, software and controllers
  • Formulates and contributes to written reports and analysis of executed events and competitions, assists in presenting to internal marketing and promotion groups, and collects and maintains relevant data, metrics and demographics
  • Focuses on assigned products and events, learning/evaluating game strengths, modes and features through hands-on game play, and supports in designing and planning events and competitions in a manner that reflects and showcases those features
  • Often necessary to change duties, projects or direction on short notice 
  • Supports campaign launch activities and live event executions as assigned
  • Handles shipping, receiving, and tracking of all external promotions and events
  • Extensive gameplay experience on all assigned titles
  • Up to 50% domestic and international travel 

Qualifications & Requirements
SUMMARY OF REQUIREMENTS
  • Four years of related professional experience preferred
  • In-depth video game knowledge
  • Knowledge of Nintendo products, franchises, and history
  • Strong knowledge of video game industry and video game tournaments and competitions
  • Expertise in Microsoft Office, Excel, PowerPoint and Word
  • Attention to detail and accuracy
  • Strong written and verbal communication skills
  • Bachelor’s degree strongly preferred
