Manages and supports the company's various database systems. Works with development and project staff to support development and production database systems. Contributes to product design and development as a database expert and is responsible for loading client data into development and production databases.
ESSENTIAL DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES
Principally responsible for managing the company's various database systems and processes. Determines when and how to extend and enhance the database per client requirements. Responsible for building new databases as required.
Assists with Entity-Relationship Diagram (ERD), data mapping and data dictionaries (metadata) for analysts.
Responsible for receiving, extracting, transforming, scrubbing, loading, and verifying client data in both development and production database environments.
Designs and implements database extensions and enhancements as needed for system and client requirements. Serves as a database technical expert to the key stakeholders.
Designs, develops, and communicates database-related policies, procedures, and best practices to the key stakeholders.
Supports all development and production database systems. Monitors database health and performance, performs maintenance as required, and recommends hardware and configuration upgrades and changes to the management team.
Independently performs ad-hoc data-intensive tasks as needed.
Performs other duties as assigned.

EDUCATION and EXPERIENCE
Bachelor's degree (BA/BS) in a related field such as
information systems, mathematics, or computer science or equivalent work
experience. Requires technical knowledge, training and understanding of the
job's requirements. Typically possesses 2 - 5 years of relevant work
experience. Consideration given to equivalent combination of education and
CERTIFICATES and/or LICENSES
Considered a plus for certification in:
SQL Server-related tools (T-SQL, SSIS, SSAS, SSRS)
services (SQL Databases, Data Factory, Machine Learning)
Excellent written and verbal communication skills. Strong

Significant experience with at least one major relational
database required. Advanced experience with Microsoft SQL Server, including
T-SQL, Stored Procedures and SSIS.
Understanding of database connectivity, database design, data
warehouse fundamentals, SSRS, SSAS, API and JSON preferred.
Experience with Azure, Python, machine learning, forecasting,
Tableau, Power Automate, Power Apps, spatial data, NoSQL and/or Windows Task
Scheduler are a plus.
Bilingual – Spanish is a plus.
