As the Inventory Coordinator you will be responsible for the cycle counts program, cycle count audit program, verification, to determine accuracy of perpetual inventory. You will also support the Romeoville Distribution Center for all inventory inquiries and transactions. Provides training for inventory processes. Coordinates year-end inventory activities and issues monthly cycle count reports.
Schedule: 3:00 PM-11:30 PM. Overtime may be required.
ESSENTIAL DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES:
Inventory corrections - Hach truck, Warehouse, Distribution:
Resolve all inventory balance on hand discrepancies. Performing these tasks helps to ensure accurate inventory counts that directly effect on-time delivery and financial accounting.
Shipping Problem Orders:
Resolve all inventory discrepancies for sales orders and assist with restock from shipping team.
NCNs and Product Holds:
Perform transactions related to inventory status, identification and location. Completion of these tasks helps to avoid unintended shipment of non-conforming product to customers.
Update product status per NCN.
Coordinate held product inventory consolidation, verification, and identification.
Pull expired lots per monthly report
Coordinate negative reports
Examines negative on hand printout and makes inventory corrections or informs department that caused error to correct it. This task helps to ensure proper financials and BOH for the facility.
Assist in cycle counts
Assists in physical inventory counts of products based on cycle count process or on an as needed basis. Performing this task allows for accurate inventory counts that directly effect on-time delivery and financial accounting.

Assist Inventory Specialists and other departments with any inventory related issues.
HS Diploma or GED equivalent required.
2 or more years experience with inventory systems
Prior experience in manufacturing or material handling preferred.
Ability to work independently.
Be versatile in handling various responsibilities.
Strong decision making and problem-solving abilities.
Basic math skills.
Proficient in ERP Systems (i.e. Oracle)
Strong Computer Skills
Comfortable with heights ( and using an aerial lift)
Strong verbal and non-verbal communication skills
