The Chief Operating Office (COO) is responsible for delivering a more consistent approach to business operations across Wells Fargo, strengthening the company’s risk and control infrastructure, and delivering effective and efficient enterprise services to employees and customers.

The COO group includes the head of Operations, who is jointly responsible for line of business operations with each of the five LOB CEOs. Operations functions include contact center operations, client servicing support, money movements within our businesses, lending operations, and other functions.

The COO group also includes a number of teams dedicated to strengthening Wells Fargo’s risk and control infrastructure. These include the Control Executive team; Regulatory and Policy Affairs; Enterprise Customer Excellence; Sales Practices Oversight and Management; and Strategic Execution and Operations.

The Chief Administrative Office, encompassing the Corporate Properties Group; Corporate Security; Enterprise Business Resiliency; Strategic Programs and Process Improvement; Enterprise Change Management; Supply Chain Management; and Data Management and Insights, delivers important services for our employees and customers.

The Data Management Solutions (DMS) organization within Data Management & Insight provides holistic and consistent data management capabilities to Wells Fargo. This includes domain management, data quality monitoring, metadata management, data lake management, and master/reference data management.

The Enterprise Data Quality Business Analyst will report to the Head of Data Quality Operations and be responsible for supporting the delivery of the data quality reports as per EDG policy. This position will support the data integrity and Data Quality monitoring by supporting requirements, designing, building and delivering utilities and reports on the data quality results and other processes within Enterprise Data Quality Management(eDQM).  Part of the Data Quality team responsible for implementing and executing a data quality program including data defect management (monitor, report, remediate) in order to transform the Wells Fargo enterprise data landscape. Perform Data analysis, systems and ETL pipeline analysis, business process analysis and process improvement

Please Note: This position will initially be remote but does not offer a long term telecommute/remote option or relocation assistance. Candidates will be expected to work from one of the posting locations listed on the job posting at a future date (TBD).



Required Qualifications

  • 7+ years of experience in one or a combination of the following: data management, data governance, data quality or data analysis demonstrated through work or military experience
  • 4+ years of reporting experience
  • 3 + years of Tableau Dashboard development experience
  • 3+ years of data management experience
  • 3+ years of experience with databases such as Oracle, DB2, SQL server, or Teradata
  • 3+ years of experience creating pivot tables and performing data analysis in Excel
  • 4+ years of experience capturing and documenting complex business and functional requirements
  • 2+ years reporting with wireframing/conceptual design, metric Key Performance Indicators (KPI), Key Risk Indicators (KRI) definition and implementation, reporting data modeling experience



Other Desired Qualifications
  • 3+ years of financial services experience and understanding of financial industry compliance requirements
  • Knowledge and understanding of data integrity management practices and procedures 
  • Strong analytical skills with high attention to detail and accuracy 
  • Excellent verbal, written, and interpersonal communication skills 
  • Ability to organize and manage multiple priorities and achieve results 
  • Extensive knowledge and understanding of research and analysis  
  • Ability to interact with all levels of an organization, including senior leadership/management
  • Ability to manage process improvement initiatives to optimize operational effectives and efficiencies 
  • Experience in developing data quality controls, including manual and automated
  • Ability to work with limited supervision
  • 4+ Requirements gathering (BRD, FSD, TSD, etc.) and documentation; working with variety of non-technical users, convert business requirements into technical requirements
  • Ability to articulate issues, risks, and proposed solutions to various levels of staff and management
  • Ability to problem solve and demonstrate strong critical thinking skills
  • Experience working with reporting data architecture streamlining and integration
  • Exposure to performance tuning on data sources and dashboards in Tableau 


Salary Information

The salary range displayed below is based on a Full-time 40 hour a week schedule.
