JR0200885 - Graphics Hardware Engineer (Intern)
Intel develops Best-in-Class Graphics Technology that is a critical part of our major product lines. Accelerated Computing Systems and Graphics (AXG) is responsible for architecting the Core Graphics IP that is featured in these products. The successful candidate will work within a team focusing on class leading power and performance for GPU architectures and designs to enable the next generation of computing. Responsibilities may be quite diverse of a nonexempt technical nature. U.S. experience and education requirements will vary significantly depending on the unique needs of the job. Job assignments are usually for the summer or for short periods during breaks from school. Qualifications
You must possess the below minimum qualifications to be initially considered for this position. Preferred qualifications are in addition to the minimum requirements and are considered a plus factor in identifying top candidates. Experience listed below would be obtained through a combination of your schoolwork/classes/research and/or relevant previous job and/or internship experiences. Minimum Qualifications - Candidate must be a student currently pursuing Bachler’s degree or postgraduate degree in computer science or electrical engineering
Desired skills: - Basic understanding of general architecture concepts
- Programming experience of HDL (Verilog, SV, VHDL)
- Knowledge of ASIC design flow
- Understanding of verification principles
Preferred Qualifications An ideal candidate will have knowledge and/or experience in some of the following: - Hardware design
- Scripting languages e.g. Python
- Verification - UVM or similar
- Understanding of low power design
- 3D Graphics Pipeline and GPU architecture
- Graphics APIs e.g. OpenGL, Vulkan, DirectX, OpenCL
- Rendering and Ray Tracing algorithms
- Profiling benchmarks and games
- Strong analytical skills
