Responsibilities:
Manage and direct the activities of the process department in the repair and refurbishment of tooling and equipment to meet or exceed production goals Training of technical personnel on overall machine function, process, and troubleshooting Oversee the tooling and equipment preventative maintenance programs to maintain continuous and efficient operations Read and edit PLC logic, program and troubleshoot robotics, and evaluate, and troubleshoot electrical schematics Direct and prioritize the activities in fabricating new tooling, repairs, and refurbishing equipment and tooling Lead the process team in assisting the Continuous Improvement activities towards maintaining optimal equipment operations and in improving OEE, downtime, and scrap Participate and contribute to the safety, 5S, and cost reduction initiatives Programming and installation of automation systems and interfacing with other factory control systems including PLC’s, HMI’s, robotics, drives and computers Drive optimization of manufacturing equipment utilization through continuous improvement and rapid trouble shooting Oversee and support quotation, procurement and execution of all capital equipment related projects Maintains specified records and logs of repairs, maintenance-related activities Performs preventative maintenance procedures following an established program Follows applicable codes and regulations Implement LL and read across best practices Performs other duties incidential to the position, as assigned
