DePuy Synthes is looking for a digital marketer with a data-driven approach to lead the content syndication process and support other digital initiatives. With a passion for delivering exceptional experiences that address customer unmet needs, focus on driving relationships amongst clinical customers (Surgeons, Fellows/ Residents, OR personnel) and non-clinical decision makers, to support DePuy Synthes growth and enable positive patient outcomes. This role will be responsible for global execution in partnership with priority markets and as a digital content subject matter authority, they will cultivate digital content development and best practices across the organization. This role reports to the Marketing Director, Global Digital Experience and is expected to collaborate with partners across the global, regional and local DePuy Synthes marketing, professional education, J&J MedTech and IT teams.

A successful candidate for the Digital Content Marketing Manager role will build experiences that drive lead acquisition and demand generation strategies by proactively leading the digital content strategy. They will enable global marketing teams to implement and scale successful digital programs, using data to measure, optimize and report on performance. An entrepreneurial approach, outstanding teamwork, and willingness to tactically implement are required.

Responsibilities include:

  • Lead the digital content curation strategy and roadmap driven by customer insight, identifying areas of opportunity across specialties and markets to deliver relevant and timely content.
  • Co-create content with internal partners across Marketing, Communications, Sales and Education as well as external partners including Health Care Professionals, Industry Associations, and others.
  • Develop and maintain global digital content standards, developing guidelines and requirements for content across channels. Drive communication and education amongst teams to enable content quality improvements.
  • Function as the subject matter authority for SEO/SEM to drive engagement and lead generation. Lead and optimize website tags to ensure proper tracking is enabled, tags are implemented consistently and adhere to best practices.
  • Create positive relationships with core agencies to drive best in class digital content.
  • Assist in the creation of business requirements, user flow diagrams, functional specifications, and user acceptance testing (UAT).
  • Build and maintain training material, ensure style guidelines are followed and page template consistency is maintained.

  • Bachelor’s degree or equivalent experience, MBA desirable.
  • A minimum of five (5) years of hands-on digital marketing experience is required.
  • Comprehensive understanding of digital ecosystems and how web, mobile, commerce, social, search and offline channels work together to optimize behavior, acquisition and sales is required.
  • Experience in development and execution of digital content across channels (including web, app, e-commerce, social, email, etc.) for B2B, B2C or other transactional programs is required.
  • A minimum of two (2) years of Content Management System (CMS), basic HTML skills, CSS knowhow required with understanding of website mapping and taxonomy preferred.
  • Knowledge of SEO standards and best practices with the ability to pinpoint and implement improvements preferred.
  • Data-driven mentality and sophisticated analytical skills with interest in interpreting data and making informed projections/assertions is required.
  • Proficient with JIRA, Google Analytics and WCAG standards.
  • Shown leadership ability to motivate, influence and engage cross-functional teams across a matrix organization. The ability to collaborate successfully and establish relationships with internal teams, suppliers and agencies is required.
  • Ability to set a vision, develop robust action plans, overcome obstacles, and find solutions to problems in a fast-paced, multifaceted environment.
  • Outstanding business communication skills, with demonstrated ability to communicate sophisticated messages to diverse audiences, including senior leadership.
  • Strong background of proactive planning and running several partners across multiple projects with Experience working in an agile environment is preferred.
