In this role, you will:

  • Lead or participate in product management initiatives and deliverables for product lines or services
  • Contribute to product analysis across applicable markets, conduct market research and market results-oriented analysis
  • Review and analyze marketing programs for new products or enhancements including identification of market segments, product positioning, product bundling, pricing and profitability
  • Resolve moderately complex issues and lead team to meet project goals, objectives and deliverables
  • Ensure programs adhere to compliance, privacy regulations and policies
  • Collaborate and consult with managers, analysts and project teams to ensure that goals are achieved
  • Lead projects, teams or serve as a mentor
  • Collaborate closely with the Product Owner to support practices such as discovery, definition of acceptance criteria, and identification of functional and non-functional requirements to enable the ability to create a shared understanding of the desired outcomes
  • Participates in product forums including planning, prioritization, epic and feature refinement
  • Supports the Product Area teams at the direction of Product Owners including sprint planning, refinement, and support of testing
  • Works with complex data sets, normalizes them, finds patterns, and distills insights for the product management team
  • Partners with the Product Manager and Product Owner on overall Product Roadmap
  • Employ a customer centric mindset while translating complex customer, user, and business insights and product requirements to consumable artifacts that enable the teams' ability to successfully deliver desired outcomes
  • Identifies, communicates, and partners with the team on improvement opportunities
  • Engage in key Agile ceremonies for the product area to support the Product Owner and take ownership of deliverables that are instrumental in supporting the ability to successfully deliver value
  • Explore, understand, and refine learnings in a manner that supports the Product Owner's ability to make educated decisions around prioritization and outcomes

Required Qualifications:

  • 4+ years of Product Management experience, product development experience, or equivalent demonstrated through one or a combination of the following: work experience, training, military experience, education

Desired Qualifications:

  • Knowledge of Home Lending systems and processes
  • Proven experience in product issue management, product discovery, design thinking or other discovery design approaches  
  • Leadership skills including the ability to influence effectively in a matrix environment
  • Ability to evaluate risks and the impact of decisions on an overall organization
  • 2+ years of home preservation experience
  • Ability to negotiate, influence, and collaborate to build successful relationships
  • Ability to work effectively in a team environment and across all organizational levels, where flexibility, collaboration, and adaptability are important
  • Ability to quickly and accurately execute tactical deliverables
  • Ability to prioritize work, meet deadlines, achieve goals, and work under pressure in a dynamic and complex environment
  • Ability to execute in a fast paced, high demand, environment while balancing multiple priorities
  • Strong organizational, multi-tasking, and prioritizing skills
  • Strong attention to detail and accuracy skills
  • Excellent verbal, written, and interpersonal communication skills

Job Expectations:

  • Ability to travel up to 15% of the time
  • This position requires compliance with all mortgage regulatory requirements and Wells Fargo's compliance policies related to these requirements. Successful candidates must also meet ongoing regulatory requirements including additional screening and required reporting of certain incidents.
