In this role, you have the opportunity to partner with senior commercial leaders and Global Education Content, Curriculum & Platforms teams to understand key business objectives and translate that into a meaningful clinical education curriculum for our sales consultants, while ensuring an amazing learning experience, and the alignment of our commercial education focus and priorities to business objectives.

Key Responsibilities:

The Commercial Education Leader will oversee the delivery of all internal education programs, for the Trauma, Extremities and CMF platforms. You will maximize departmental resources to across our complete spectrum of educational offerings, including classroom and field-based training in partnership with Field Sales Trainers and Regional Managers and in adherence to the training budget.

The Commercial Education Leader will also be responsible for:

• Seeking innovative ways to maximize learning technology and enhance the learning experience; in order to increase learner engagement
• Building a strong instructional delivery capability; which measures and continuously improves effectiveness of education programming
• Developing talent to include; using functional competency models, recruitment, on-boarding, training/development and succession planning; in order to foster a high performance environment and culture of collaboration and innovation
• Fully integrating Johnson & Johnson learning platforms, by implementing branding, environment, technology and workflow standards for learning delivery
• Partnering effectively with other functions/departments (HCC, Procurement, Legal, PR&O, etc.) on Faculty selection/ contracting, preferred suppliers, contract negotiations and statements of work to ensure adherence to company policies

Education:

• BA/BS required - MA/MBA preferred.

Experience and Skills:

Required:

• Minimum of 10 years in Education, Sales, Marketing or other Commercial Function in Medical Devices with a history in driving results.
• Minimum of 5 years successfully managing a team is required.
• Proven ability to understand business strategy; translate it into solutions that support the company’s business goals.

Preferred:

• MBA preferred.
• 5 years’ experience in Professional Education or Sales Training.
• 5 years’ experience in Orthopedics, preferably with the Trauma, Extremities and/or CMF platforms.

Other:

• 15% domestic/international travel required.
