The Lead Site Merchandiser – Dog Consumables (e-commerce) is essential in creating, translating and implementing merchandising and Digital strategy into the online and App shopping experience. The Lead Site Merchandiser will not only be responsible for executing fundamental aspects that create the functionality of the e-commerce business, but also driving innovative efforts in the realms of vendor partnership and ratings and reviews. As the senior most Site Merchandiser level, this role is also responsible for mentorship of the team and taking on stretch assignments to support PetSmart’s rapid acceleration in the digital space.  The person in this position will work closely with Buying, Marketing, UX, Product, and Creative teams to ensure broad alignment and support of key priorities.

• Manages day-to-day responsibilities of the of the e-commerce site 
• Serves as subject matter expert to round table partners
• Drives strategies and priorities of site and app experience of owned categories
• Influence and proof marketing material such as emails and social media posts with a customer first viewpoint
• Optimize end to end customer journey for owned categories, including internal search, taxonomy, navigation, educational/inspirational content, and SEO
• Partner with Category Analytics to quickly react to business trends and customer needs

Supports and assists with key E-Commerce initiatives, IT projects, presentations, reports or any other assigned tasks

EDUCATION and/or EXPERIENCE 

• 4+ years of Merchandising, E-Commerce, Analyst, or Marketing experience
