Health Services Division Intern -Reproductive Health
JSI Research and Training Institute (JSI) seeks graduate students (Masters level) for a 90 day internship in JSIís Health Services Division (HSD). The HSD does public health and health services work across the U.S. The intern will join JSIís Reproductive Health National Training Center (RHNTC) project, which provides training and technical assistance to reproductive health and adolescent health providers nationwide (learn more at rhntc.org). While affiliated with JSIís Boston headquarters, the internship will be remote.

As part of the RHNTC team, the intern will:

Contribute in the development of training products. For example, specific tasks may include conducting research (interviews, background literature searches) about reproductive health and adolescent health topics to inform products; developing glossaries of key terms; summarizing background research into key themes; and reviewing product outlines and storyboards.
Support project team operations. For example, specific tasks may include conducting a gap analysis of existing training products; conducting interviews with team members to identify opportunities to streamline project operations; analyzing feedback received through sources such as the project inbox and evaluation comments; and developing recommendations for improvements.
Meet reproductive health and adolescent health professionals through networking with team members in formal and informal settings.

RESPONSIBILITIES

Interns are expected to take substantial initiative in identifying, arranging, and completing a meaningful internship. As such, interns will:
Maintain a work schedule agreed upon by all parties.
Conduct all work remotely.
Fulfill tasks set out by mutual agreement with supervisor(s) across several tasks.
Take initiative to meet professional colleagues and learn about their work.
Ensure the timely submission of required internship and project drafts and deliverables.
Qualifications & Requirements
MPH or other relevant masters degree completed or in progress
Strong writing skills
Ability to work well as part of a team
Strong organizational skills
Ability to work well independently
Knowledge of Google Suite products (Docs, Sheets, Slides)
Interest in learning about public health and reproductive health
Interest in working in a culturally diverse environment
Reproductive health or adolescent health experience is desirable
Qualitative research experience desirable
Ability to work effectively remotely


Salary Range: $20 - $24/hour dependent on qualifications

Eligible Candidates can work in any state JSI R&T is registered (AZ, CA, CO, DC, GA, IL, ME, MD, MA, NH, NJ, NM, NY, NC, PA, RI, VT, VA, & WI)
Salary Range: $20 - $24/hr
