About this role:

Wells Fargo is seeking a Business Execution Consultant to join the Transformation team in the Deposit & Credit Bureau Management Office (DCBMO) Disputes Team. The DCBMO manages consumer credit bureau‑related functions and reporting activities across our lending products. This position in DCBMO Disputes will be responsible for developing consistent and risk based processing moving us toward our target operating model (TOM). This includes working with process owners, Change Management, agile Technology teams, governance partners and various other partners to perform due diligence and bring forward solutions for aligned future state product-agnostic process and procedures. We are looking for a thought-leader with strong collaboration, problem solving and process improvement experience.


In this role, you will:

  • Participate in a variety of assigned and ongoing business operations to ensure success in meeting business goals and objectives
  • Identify opportunities for process improvement by conducting root cause testing of all compliance and business metrics
  • Determine areas of strength or Business Execution opportunity within defined scope of work
  • Review and research strategies and action plans to establish effective processes while meeting performance metrics and policy expectations
  • Utilize independent judgment to guide moderate risk deliverables
  • Present recommendations to develop, implement, and monitor strategic approaches, effectiveness of support function, and business performance improvement opportunities for managing risks of the business
  • Exercise independent judgment and provide guidance in diverse support functions and operations for a single business group within a line of business
  • Collaborate and consult with leaders and executive management
  • Provide work direction to less experienced Strategy and Execution staff


Required Qualifications, US:

  • 2+ years of Business Operations or Leadership experience, or equivalent demonstrated through one or a combination of the following: work experience, training, military experience, education


Desired Qualifications:

  • Ability to take initiative and drive for results with minimal supervision
  • Ability to think broadly and understand/assess risk across multiple LOBs and processes
  • 2+ years of experience developing Operationally efficient processes
  • Strong problem solving skills with high attention to detail and accuracy
  • Experience with a Consumer Lending products such as: Home Lending, Auto, Credit Card
  • Highly Skilled in Microsoft Office applications
  • Ability to make timely and independent judgment decisions while working in a fast-paced and results-driven environment
  • Experience developing partnerships and collaborating with other business and functional areas
  • Excellent verbal, written, and interpersonal communication skills
  • Experience preparing presentations/data and presenting to multiple levels of leadership
  • Knowledge and experience with consumer credit bureau reporting and/or associated laws (FCRA, FACTA) and processes.
  • Experience with FCRA requirements for credit bureau reporting disputes preferred
  • Knowledge and understanding of banking: regulations, compliance, policies, process, and procedures


Posting Location:

  • Candidate must reside within a reasonable commute to the address listed in the posting
  • Relocation assistance is not available for this position.
  • Hybrid work schedule 3 days in the office, with the option of 2 days from home

Preferable candidates will demonstrate experience in most or all of the below areas:

  • Experienced in Microsoft Office applications
  • Experience preparing presentations/data and presenting to multiple levels of leadership
  • Knowledge and experience with consumer credit bureau reporting and/or associated laws (FCRA, FACTA) and processes.
  • Experience with a Consumer Lending products such as: Home Lending, Auto, Credit Card
