About this role:

In this role, you will:

  • Lead complex initiatives designed to mitigate current and emerging risks with broad impact
  • Act as key participant in monitoring, evaluating, and measuring the impact of decisions practiced in Control Management functional area
  • Monitor moderately complex business specific programs, and provide risk management consulting to support the business in designing and implementing risk-mitigation strategies
  • Monitor, measure, evaluate, and report on the impact of decisions and controls to the relevant business group or functional area
  • Develop and implement risk monitoring and risk reporting processes and controls
  • Collaborate with relevant business group to identify current and emerging risks associated with business activities and operations, and provide guidance in developing and implementing risk-mitigating strategies
  • Lead Control Management project or virtual teams


Required Qualifications, US:

  • 5+ years of Risk Management or Control Management experience, or equivalent demonstrated through one or a combination of the following: work experience, training, military experience, education

Desired Qualifications:

  • Strong experience supporting risk and change related programs on Financial Crimes and BSA/AML space either in Consumer Banking (preferred) or other lines of business (Corporate, Commercial, Wealth) or Risk Lines of Defense (First Line, Compliance, Audit) Financial Crimes roles.
  • Strong knowledge and understanding of Consumer and Small Business Banking (CSBB) businesses; Branch Banking preferred or Small Business, Deposits, other Consumer groups
  • In addition to Financial Crimes, good experience will be helpful in one or more of these areas: Volker / Compliance programs, Safe Deposit Box, RAU RCSA, Conduct, Loudspeaker, Business Resiliency, Third Party, Change Management, Fraud, Customer Redress/Remediation, Customer Experience.
  • Strong experience in the development and implementation of new controls, action plans, and root cause analysis especially with Financial Crimes areas such as Customer Due Diligence, Customer Identification Programs, Global Sanctions, Financial Crimes Policy / Procedure, Exit Relationship and so on.
  • Leadership experience to guide risk officers and specialists
  • Experience with process management including process mapping
  • Knowledge and understanding on Control Programs including Risk and Control Self-Assessment (RCSA).
  • Experience driving and leading others through change in a dynamic environment.
  • Strong experience in creating and delivering dynamic presentations to senior level executives.
  • Strong experience with risk assessment and control design.
  • Ability to influence and consult strategically across a large organization and with various levels of leadership/stakeholders.
  • Ability to articulate complex concepts in a clear manner.
  • Advanced Microsoft Office skills.
  • Excellent verbal, written, and interpersonal communication skills
  • Knowledge across enterprise risk management framework, including: risk identification, risk appetite and strategy, risk-related decisions, processes and controls, risk analytics and governance.
  • Ability to influence, partner, and negotiate with senior business leaders to gain commitment to accomplish business goals
  • Knowledge and understanding of the Retail Sale of Non-Deposit Investment Products (RSNIP) program.

Salary Range

$111,100-197,000. Base annual salary is dependent on experience.
