Schneider Electric has an outstanding opportunity for a passionate and motivated individual to assume the role of Digital Media Manufacturing Intern in our Smyrna, TN facility.
We are looking for a summer intern to support the Design Engineering team by documenting manufacturing processes, developing training materials, and enhancing how the team collaborates and shares knowledge with one another. We are looking for a candidate with full-time availability for 2-3 months starting June 2023.
What will you do?
- Document processes and layouts of the manufacturing floor and the front office environments
- Add and modify material on the department’s Wiki and SharePoint sites to improve collaboration
- Shadow engineers to learn how specific tasks are done, then log those tasks to be shared with the team
What qualifications will make you successful?
- Pursuing a Bachelor's Degree and available for Summer 2023
- Experience with digital media platforms and process documentation
- Prior work experience in a manufacturing environment preferred
- Technical writing experience preferred
A successful candidate will have excellent verbal and written communication skills, the ability to build strong relationships with those in the department, and a strong initiative to learn and disrupt a fast-paced environment. A successful candidate will not be hesitant to ask questions.
