POSITION SUMMARY: The primary role of this position is to manage short- and long-term commodity, contracts, and supplier management strategies for the key technology commodity. Recommend and develop strategy roadmap with suppliers; manage suppliers through objective measurements. Organize and negotiate complex contracts. Ensures selected suppliers provide the best quality, delivery, cost and support available on the global market for assigned commodities. Coordinates purchases with the corporate level commodity teams as well as the group level to ensure the buy is globally leveraged with target suppliers. Candidate will conduct these efforts with the highest level of personal, professional and ethical conduct. SCHEDULE: Full Time TYPE OF ROLE: Onsite Loveland, CO KEY RESPONSIBILITIES: The Global Commodity Manager, Key Tech is responsible for developing and executing commodity strategies consistent with quality, delivery and cost objectives. Assigned Commodities include, but are not limited to: PCB/PCBA, motors, cables, power supplies. Locate, negotiate with and develop strategic suppliers globally to ensure continuous improvement in quality, delivery, inventory, cost, support, and technological capability.
Lead supplier negotiations and contract management to obtain Quality, Delivery and Cost objectives Build internal strategic partnerships across company including site operations, procurement, quality, commercial operations, and Corporate Procurement. Manage the transition of material or service to the most competitive global suppliers, ensuring continuous availability of material or service.
Maintain current knowledge regarding global market conditions affecting supply chain, develop and defend with data, corresponding strategies to ensure meeting policy deployment objectives. Proficient utilization of web-based procurement tools and online bidding activity to ensure performance objectives are realized. Monitors supplier performance, holds suppliers accountable for performance levels. Leads process improvement projects.
OTHER NON-ESSENTIAL FUNCTIONS: QUALIFICATIONS: Minimum 7 or more years experience in international manufacturing and/or supply chain sourcing and a minimum of 5 years experience in commodity management of key technologies. Detailed knowledge and experience within the field of Key Tech procurement and its interfaces. Strong track record of high-level negotiations and contract development/execution. Advanced knowledge/experience in MS Office Suite and ERP systems. Bachelors degree in Industrial, Mechanical or Electrical engineering, business management, or supply chain management Knowledge of supplier relationships, contract negotiations, JIT/demand flow philosophies, and legal issues involved with purchasing Demonstrated proficiency with web-based procurement and online auction tools Demonstrated ability to build strong working relationships across all levels of the organization. Ability to travel domestically and internationally up to 25%.

The hourly rate or salary range for this role is $119,00-$145,000. This is the range that we in good faith believe is the range of possible compensation for this role at the time of this posting. We may ultimately pay more or less than the posted range and this range is only applicable for jobs to be performed in Colorado. This range may be modified in the future. This job is also eligible for bonus pay. We offer comprehensive package of benefits including paid time off, medical/dental/vision insurance and 401(k) to eligible employees.
