Lead .NET Developer
We are seeking a Lead Full-Stack Developer responsible for building .NET applications using classic .NET framework, .NET Core and .NET Standard application with a primary focus on back-end and Web technologies. Your primary responsibility will be to design and develop responsive webpages, and to coordinate with the rest of the team working on different layers of the infrastructure. A commitment to collaborative problem solving, sophisticated design, and quality product is essential. Experience with Azure is a big plus. Brief Product Description TaxCaddy is a product developed in-House in SurePrep LLC for iPhones, Android, web and tablets. TaxCaddy provides web interface to CPA and Consumer. A mobile interface for consumers and a limited interface for CPA firms. TaxCaddy makes gathering tax documents and sharing them with CPA easy. TaxCaddy retrieves 1099s, 1098s and W-2s automatically. Upload or snap photos of tax documents year-round and store them with bank vault security. Electronically sign tax documents and connect directly to various financial institutions. Domain ASP.NET, .Net Core, Entity Framework, React, Javascript Responsibilities Participate in requirements analysis, Grooming, Planning and Stand-Ups. Collaborate with internal teams to produce software design and architecture. Responsible for development of new reusable components, web-based user interface, and front-end libraries. Work with product team and graphic designers, translating designs and wireframes to high quality code. Strong expertise in functional programming and design patterns using Javascript. Write clean, scalable code using .NET programming languages. Test and deploy applications and systems. Revise, update, refactor and debug code. Ensure the best possible performance, quality, and responsiveness of applications. Identify bottlenecks and bugs, and devise solutions to mitigate and address these issues. Develop documentation throughout the software development life cycle (SDLC). Serve as an expert on applications and provide technical support when required. Requirements 5+ years experience Strong knowledge of .NET web framework .NET 2.5+, .NET Standard 2.x, .NET Core App 2.x 4+ years experience with React,js/Angular/Vue.js and its core principles 4+ years experience with JavaScript Strong knowledge of Web API, MVC 5 and/or MVC6/ASP.NET Core SQL Data base knowledge Experience with working in an Agile/Scrum development project Knowledge about JIRA/ similar project management tool Bitbucket or GIT based repository Basic understanding of JSON and XML Education: Technical degree preferred, but not a must Background check required. #LI-MW1 In the United States, Thomson Reuters offers a comprehensive benefits package to our employees. The base compensation range for the role in any of those locations is $125,500 - $233,100. This role may also be eligible for an Annual Bonus based on a combination of enterprise and individual performance. Base pay is positioned within the range based on several factors including an individuals knowledge, skills and experience with consideration given to internal equity.
