Hillsboro Technical Operations (HTO) is a drug product & finished goods manufacturing organization responsible for the reliable delivery of Roche\u2019s commercial portfolio & pipeline products.\u00A0 The Operations organization at HTO is divided into 2 value streams, which combine to produce millions of units of life-saving medicine every year to patients around the world.
Job Summary:
As the Senior Communications Partner, you will be responsible for driving communications that help engage and inspire key internal and external stakeholders. You will act as a key coach and advisor for the HTO Leadership Team, promote internal communication & knowledge sharing, and directly influence and execute on a comprehensive omni-channel strategy to help elevate HTO\u2019s presence and positioning among external and internal stakeholders.
To deliver on this, you rely on excellent business acumen, effective teamwork, and collaboration with site leaders and technical experts, as well as your communication counterparts at PT sites around the world to define objectives, approaches, and areas of focus. You work cross-functionally to pull in expertise to help achieve business objectives.

Main responsibilities:
Serve as a strategic partner and communications coach to the HTO Site Head and HLT, helping influence alignment and adoption of best-practice communications.
Contribute to the delivery of HTO\u2019s strategic goals and priorities by developing and executing an engagement strategy to promote transparency, awareness, clarity, understanding and support.
Proactively connect with stakeholders within HTO and across the network to influence strategic initiatives, communicate successes, and rally support in times of need.
Provide executive communications support to leaders, using a range of internal and external channels; eg, written and video messages, town halls, social media, external events \u2014 in service of HTO goals and objectives.
Collaborate with network and community communicators to deliver strategic and tactical communications including content development, executive briefings, speaker training and more.
Qualifications/Requirements:
You have a bachelor\u2019s degree in Marketing, Communication, Journalism, or related discipline, with a minimum of 8 years relevant experience\u00A0
Pharmaceutical/biotech industry and/or medical or science communications experience is highly desirable.
You'll have experience and demonstrated skill in communicating complex topics and concepts to audiences of varying knowledge, and have a broad understanding of the healthcare environment.
You have strong interpersonal and influencing skills, and the ability to effectively communicate with colleagues at all levels of the company.
You have a proven track record in developing clear, compelling, and concise messaging and narratives to engage with non-traditional stakeholders, including the general public.
You are a strategic thinker, excellent at understanding complex topics and sensing trends and developments with relevant stakeholder groups
You are also:\u00A0(1) a self-starter comfortable working in a fast-paced, matrix environment with outstanding verbal and written communication skills with deep knowledge of English grammar and syntax. (2) Collaborative, team-oriented style with a focus on client service, ability to work successfully in ambiguous situations, and navigate uncertainty.\u00A0(3) Someone with extra attention to detail and the ability to manage multiple simultaneous projects while meeting deadlines.
