Ledgent is currently partnering with a firm located in Northwest Denver on a search for a Controller. This is an excellent opportunity for an accounting manager who is looking to take the next step in their career or a seasoned controller who is interested in joining a dynamic organization that is growing quickly. This position is eligible for bonus and offers strong compensation and benefits.

Controller Responsibilities:

• Oversees accounts payable process including review, approval and release of vendor payments
• Oversees general ledger accounting including journal entries, expense allocations, depreciation and fixed assets management
• Prepares financial reporting to be presented to senior leadership
• Hires and trains accounting staff
• Assists with external audits
• Makes recommendations for new and efficient accounting processes

The ideal Controller will posess:

• Bachelors degree in accounting
• 7+ years of accounting experience
• Experience with management
• Experience in Manufacturing or Professional Services industries
• Strong proficiency with accounting software
• Excellent written and verbal communication skills
