The Supply Chain team focuses on keeping things moving across all aspects of our business. Hybrid Position:

This position may be considered Hybrid based on PetSmart’s FlexSmart policy and business needs. A Hybrid work arrangement is considered to be a blend of onsite and remote work activity. Associates with a Hybrid work arrangement have a work space at Phoenix Home Office and can be required to come onsite between 1-5 days a week as determined by leadership and based on business needs.

The Invoicing Analyst will be responsible for the accurate and timely processing of invoices related to international transportation and trade compliance for PetSmart. This position focuses on approving, coding, tracking, and auditing invoices to ensure compliance with company policies, governing regulations, and contracts. The role lives within the international transportation & trade compliance team and requires close collaboration with carriers, vendors, and the finance department to maintain accuracy and efficiency in invoice management. The Invoicing Analyst will utilize SAP and a Freight Audit platform as key tools in their daily responsibilities.

ESSENTIAL DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES

• Approve and Code Invoices: Review and approve invoices related to international transportation and trade, ensuring proper coding and compliance with company and regulatory standards.
• Invoice Tracking: Monitor and track invoices from receipt through payment, ensuring that all invoices are processed within established timeframes.
• Auditing: Conduct regular audits of invoices to verify accuracy, detect discrepancies, and ensure compliance with internal and external policies including FMC regulations.
• Communication: Coordinate with carriers, vendors, and internal departments to resolve invoice discrepancies or issues in a timely manner.
• System Utilization: Efficiently use SAP and OOCL Logistics Freight Audit platform to manage invoice processing, tracking, and reporting.
• Documentation: Maintain accurate and organized records of all invoicing activities, including documentation related to international trade compliance.

 

EDUCATION and/or EXPERIENCE

• Bachelor’s degree in Supply Chain, Finance, Accounting, Business Administration, or related field preferred.
• 1-2 years of experience in invoicing, accounting, or a related field, preferably within international transportation or trade compliance.  

TECHNICAL SKILLS 

• Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite, particularly Excel.
• Experience with SAP or similar ERP systems.
• Familiarity with a freight audit platform or similar logistics auditing tools.
• Strong analytical skills and attention to detail.
• Excellent communication and problem-solving skills.
