Obstetric Technician - L & D unit at Providence Providence Saint Joseph Medical Ctr-Burbank , CA. Positions available is Per diem and will work 12-hour Night shift.

Prepares OR/LDR for surgery/delivery using appropriate techniques. Provides technical service and assists in OR/LDR as assigned or directed; provides basic nursing care to patients under direct supervision. Demonstrates proficiency in delivering care to assigned age specific patient population (e.g. infants, adolescents, adults, geriatrics, pediatrics) and participates in related continuing education. Attends nursing station and performs clerical and reception duties; requisitions and maintains supplies, equipment, and services as directed. The position reports to the Nurse Manager.

Required Qualifications:

• Education to meet certification, license or registration requirement



• Upon hire: National Provider BLS - American Heart Association



• Experience as OR/OB Tech



• Sufficient related experience

Preferred Qualifications:

• Unit secretary experience
