The Department of Bioengineering is seeking an Adjunct Assistant Professor. Incumbent will develop course content for a bioengineering class (Special Topics – Forensic Bioengineering BIOENG 2195) and conduct lectures. Incumbent will also organize guest speakers, workshops, and exams for graduate students.

The desired candidate should possess a PhD in a STEM field. This position requires knowledge and experience with forensic bioengineering, including accident reconstruction, injury analysis, and documentation and preservation of evidence. Prefer candidates with a deep network of industry and legal contacts who might serve as guest lecturers or workshop leaders. Must have an interest in guiding and mentoring graduate students interested in pursuing careers in relevant fields. The position requires excellent communication skills; formal experience in education is preferred. The ability to solve problems and to structure project plans to completion must be demonstrated through previous work experience.
