Here is a quick run-down of what people have said and written about Kendrick's campaign in the past 24 hours:
Yesterday, President Obama singled out Kendrick during his stop in Miami: "Somewhere around here is the next senator from the great state of Florida, Kendrick Meek... There he is. Kendrick's doing a great job."
Mark Blumenthal posted an entry on Pollster.com that asks "What About Kendrick Meek?"
-"Meek has a shot at generating the same sort of enthusiasm within Florida as benefited Obama in 2008... Meek's successful petition effort is a sign that his campaign is putting the requisite field mechanism into place for just such an effort... I would keep an eye on this race."
Ben Smith of Politico linked Blumenthal's story on his blog under the title, "Don't sleep on Meek?" Chris Cillizza also linked to Blumenthal's story and tweeted, "Interesting take on whether Kendrick Meek can win in Florida.

This, when barely a quarter of Florida voters say they know anything about him. His upside potential is large enough, given the right conditions, to run very competitively."
Mike Lux at Open Left, writes: "In Florida, Kendrick Meek has a very solid chance at taking out far right extremist Rubio after he wins his ugly primary fight with Crist."
On Morning Joe today, Jim VandeHei of Politico told the hosts, "Democratic strategists are getting excited about Meek. I think there will be a lot more money devoted to that race."
