NPR focuses on how Florida's Meek Faces Powerful Rivals for Senate Seat (http://www.npr.org/templates/story/story.php?storyId=127406040):
"But Meek says to wait until the general election, when he'll be able to draw on the influence of the state Democratic Party and President Obama. 'I can tell you, when Air Force One lands, it won't be landing for Charlie Crist - it will be landing for Kendrick Meek,' he says. 'When Democratic executive committees start to make phone calls on Aug. 25, the day after the primary, it will not be for the governor, it will be for the Democratic nominee, Kendrick Meek - me.'"
