After careful deliberation, the Florida Memorial University Board of Trustees reached a consensus to continue its search for the institution’s next president. “The Board has decided to take its time to broaden the presidential search,” stated Charles W. George, chairman of the Board of Trustees. “The Board’s top priority is to hire the best candidate for the position, and we will remain diligent in selecting a person that will take the institution to the next level,” he continued.
Sandra T. Thompson, Ph.D. will continue to serve as the University’s interim president while the Board of Trustees continues the search.
