Traveling opens us up to new experiences, new ways of perceiving things. Can be very effective and tearing down inaccurate beliefs.

I own a full service travel agency called Cruise Planners. I believe in traveling because my clients get an opportunity to learn about the rest of the world and how they live. Most of us are proud to be an American, but have no true idea why. When you go on a tour that includes a stop in a country where people still live in homes with no electricity or running water you become grateful for what you have. When you see a nice house with an Escalade outside w/rims, you learn to be humble because you realize that we are not the only ones with nice things. Going to a country where people think differently than you and have a total different creative mind reflected in their art, architecture, and music is a truly enlightening experience. I learn a lot from my well traveled clients about places that even I have yet to travel to. When you see the world, you are open to taking more opportunities such as jobs and studying abroad. You can always come back home whenever you want. Everyone should explore what the world has to offer. The past couple weeks I have been getting more people interested in full escorted tours with guides as well as families wanting to travel together to bond. If you have never left the United States, now is the time to do it. Try something new!
