MIAMI GARDENS, FLA. -- Kendrick Meek will meet President Barack Obama on the tarmac at Miami International Airport and will speak at a reception for Florida Democrats at the Fontainebleau in Miami Beach.
"All across the state, Floridians are standing up to support the Real Democrat in this race. Floridians need leaders who will fight for middle-class families, not billionaires who made a fortune betting against them. I'm excited to have President Obama in Florida, and I'm thrilled to have his support in this campaign," said Kendrick Meek.
A Quinnipiac University poll released today shows Kendrick seven points ahead of 'Meltdown Mogul' Jeff Greene.
http://www.quinnipiac.edu/x1297.xml?Releas... The week began with President Clinton campaigning for Kendrick at rallies in Palm Beach, Broward and Miami-Dade counties. At each event, President Clinton and Kendrick were met by capacity crowds of more than 1,000 people.
On Sunday, Kendrick will join Florida CFO Alex Sink at a rally in Tampa.
