HOLLYWOOD, FLA. -- Kendrick Meek today announced that 53 current and former mayors across Florida had endorsed his candidacy. To date, over 250 local Florida officials are supporting his campaign for the U.S. Senate.
"I am honored to receive the endorsements of these leaders who shoulder great weight as mayors of our cities. They stand where the rubber meets the road. They deserve a senator who will fight hard for families in their cities, just as they are fighting hard for their constituents. In the Senate, I will continue working hard to bring economic prosperity to our state once again," said Kendrick Meek, Democratic candidate for U.S. Senate.
