WHO: The Dayton Contemporary Dance Company
WHAT: Dayton Contemporary Dance Company (DCDC), an ensemble of artists who use the body as a way to understand ourselves in the world, will perform as part of Cheyney University’s Arts & Lectures series. DCDC is taking its show to the nation’s Historically Black Colleges and Universities (HBCUs) to present thought-provoking, energetic, and engaging new dance work by living choreographers of color. The program, “Young, Gifted and Black: A Transformative Experience”, is open to the public.
