Preview this story in your news outlet so you may help so many of your news consumers find a job or a affect a career change, and join us this Thursday (March 8) as Alabama State University's office of Career Services hosts its largest Career/Job Fair EVER with 103 employers-plus being on site at the ASU Dunn-Oliver Acadome. They are each looking to hire qualified local residents and students for employment. It begins at 9 a.m. and ends at 12:30 p.m. - free parking in front of the Acadome.
The employers at ASU's Fair are looking to hire full-time and part-time employees for such incredible companies as Apple, Baptist Health Systems, Jefferson County Government, Emory University, Mt. Brook School System, Jackson Hospital, Regions Bank, and much more. Please see the list below for all of the employers.
The event is free and open to anyone who resides in the River Region and who truly wants a new job.
The host of the event insists that all of those attending wear proper business attire (as one would wear to a job interview) and have multiple copies of one's resume with them to give to the employers seeking applicants for employment since many will make hiring decisions on-the-spot to qualified applicants.
