The James B. Duke Memorial Library partners with Discovery Place Education Studio, Makerspace Charlotte and Apple to host a full-day conference April 13, 2018, giving Charlotte and particularly under-served West Side tech entrepreneurs the opportunity for hands-on experience with cutting-edge digital equipment and concepts. Guests can expect expert panel discussions with designers, makers, and hackers as well as hands-on breakout sessions featuring demonstrations of 3D printers, laser cutters and milling devices. Apple will be conducting workshops on Swift Coding for students.
There are only 50 slots for the Discovery Place Education Studio session which provides hands on demonstrations so registration is required, here

Guests are encouraged to bring photos, illustrations, floor plans, or curriculum--whatever may enhance the discussion.
