Alabama State University’s Reopening Guide for Fall 2021 has been released and the document has been posted to the University's website with notifications to ASU students and employees.
“We are very excited about this fall semester,” said ASU President, Dr. Quinton T. Ross, Jr. “We want our students and employees to return to campus safely. This guide details how we will operate with safety in mind.”
Ross said one of the key points of the Reopening Guide is that ASU remains a Mask Mandatory campus.
“We are still emphasizing the need to wear masks or face coverings while on our campus. This protocol applies to all who live, learn and work on our campus. The mandate also applies to visitors to our campus. We believe that the mask-mandatory rule has been a vital part of our success in preventing a major outbreak of COVID-19 on our campus. We do not plan to drop our guard now,” Ross added.
Ross said the plan also includes other valuable information and resources, including move-in dates for students, campus resources, parking information, academic schedules and much more.
“As with our previous Reopening Guides, the latest edition is comprehensive in scope and will be the document under which the entire University will operate for the fall semester. We will continue to update the Guide as needed, but the current document addresses most major operational areas.”
