2K Sports is turning on the star power, announcing that All-Star Kobe Bryant from the Los Angeles Lakers (which just won the first game in this year's NBA Finals) will be the official spokesperson and cover athlete for this year's rendition of the publisher's popular basketball game, NBA 2K10. Director Spike Lee's also got in on the action -- by directing the commercial, video below, that reveals Kobe as this year's cover boy.
But wait, there's more. 2K Sports wants athletes to pick the cover for the new game, staring now through June 15. Head over to 2K Sports official site to cast your vote on one of the four covers. Can we vote on the cover starring Spike Lee as well? We also vote that Lee makes a cameo appearance in the game, as an unlockable character for the New York Knicks. C'mon, 2K, do the right thing.
