The actress picked up an Emmy in the Outstanding Lead Actress in a Limited Series or Movie category for her role on HBO's "Watchmen."
As she delivered her speech, her t-shirt with Taylor's face on it, and the message, "Say her name," could be seen under her pink jacket.
Taylor, a 26-year-old Black woman, was shot and killed in her home by a trio of plainclothes Louisville, Ky., police officers in March, a killing that has inspired months of protests nationwide
