Responsibilities: - Collect and maintain receivables for an assigned account base.
- Review and release/hold orders for the assigned account base, considering credit limits, account delinquency, and payment trends.
- Maintain established Accounts Receivable (AR) targets; actively work to resolve 90-day delinquencies.
- Establish credit lines, utilizing DNB to analyze credit and risk scores as needed.
- Work closely with sales teams to establish a strong rapport and ensure effective collaboration.
- Enter all relevant information into the Credit & Collections database in a timely and accurate manner.
- Generate AR reports to manage the account base effectively and provide updates to management as requested.
- Resolve disputes through effective problem-solving, demonstrating strong critical thinking skills.
- Interact with multiple internal departments to facilitate smooth credit and collections processes.
- Act as a proactive team player, assisting and supporting peers and management.
Job Requirements: - Minimum Education: Bachelor's Degree strongly preferred.
- Minimum of 3 years of proven success within a multi-faceted credit and collection environment.
- Ability to produce strong results in a fast-paced team environment.
- Attention to detail with an emphasis on accuracy and quality.
- Aptitude to effectively prioritize and balance multiple job responsibilities, consistently meeting deadlines.
- Excellent verbal and written communication skills.
- Exceptional customer service mindset.
- Intermediate computer skills required, including proficiency in Excel and Word.
- Working knowledge of P-21 computer system is a plus.
