Position Overview
We are seeking an experienced and detail-oriented Quality Control (QC) Coordinator to join our team. The ideal candidate will have a strong background in quality assurance processes, QMS, and root cause analysis, complemented by Lean Six Sigma certifications. This role requires the ability to read and interpret bills of materials, quality alerts, case records, and engineering drawings, as well as proficiency with tools like calipers and WMS systems. Experience with RMA processes and NRC (Non-Conformance Reporting) is also essential.

Key Responsibilities

• Ensure product quality and compliance with company and industry standards.
• Perform root cause analysis and implement corrective actions to address quality issues.
• Manage quality records, including case records, RMAs, and NRC reports.
• Utilize Quality Management Systems (QMS) to document and track quality processes.
• Read and interpret bills of materials, quality alerts, and engineering drawings.
• Conduct inspections and measurements using calipers and other precision tools.
• Collaborate with cross-functional teams to support Lean Six Sigma initiatives.
• Operate a stand-up forklift as required for quality inspections and inventory management.
• Use Warehouse Management Systems (WMS) to maintain and track quality-related inventory.
• Provide training and guidance to team members on quality standards and procedures.

Qualifications

• Proven experience in quality assurance or QC coordination.
• Lean Six Sigma certification (Green Belt or higher preferred).
• Proficiency in QMS, WMS, and root cause analysis techniques.
• Ability to read and interpret technical documentation, including engineering drawings and bills of materials.
• Hands-on experience with RMAs, NRC, and quality alerts.
• Skilled in using calipers and other measurement tools.
• Stand-up forklift certification or relevant experience.
• Strong analytical, problem-solving, and organizational skills.
• Excellent communication and teamwork abilities.

Preferred Skills

• Experience in manufacturing, distribution, or a similar fast-paced environment.
• Knowledge of ISO standards and regulatory requirements.
• Familiarity with lean manufacturing principles.
