You will oversee project engineering activities and guide the project engineering group. Your role includes providing technical support and expertise on all capital projects. Your contributions will address immediate needs while balancing long-term priorities, fostering ownership, and creating enthusiasm for the vision, goals, and necessary business changes. This is a safety-sensitive position.Job Description:You Will:<ul><li>Ensure project engineering activities are performed to enhance safety, equipment reliability, energy efficiency, production and compliance with regulatory statutes.</li><li>Supervise the Project Engineering group. </li><li>Supervise Engineering and Construction contractors to ensure that all plant replacements, modifications, and additions are performed in strict conformity with design specifications and applicable code requirements</li><li>Develop engineers’ technical abilities by focusing on individual development plans and coordinating those with the needs of the organization.</li><li>Lead multidisciplinary project teams to design, organize, schedule, and implement project plans.</li><li>Develop project schedules and effectively manage resources to ensure successful completion of project goals</li><li>Define project scopes and justification documentation in collaboration with management and other departments.</li><li>Manage the annual capital spending forecast and five-year capital plan for the site.</li><li>Forecast monthly project cash flows</li><li>Lead the Management of Change (MOC) process for major projects.</li><li>Provide technical evaluation of projects related to nitrogen manufacturing for the company.</li><li>Facilitate the Engineering work request process, support turnaround planning and work on special projects as required.</li></ul>You Have:<ul><li>Mechanical or Chemical Engineering degree preferred.</li><li>5+ years of experience in project execution in a nitrogen fertilizer manufacturing plant, chemical manufacturing facility or refinery (preferred).</li><li>10+ years of experience in an engineering role.</li><li>Previous experience supervising a team of engineers or a strong technical background in the fertilizer manufacturing industry.</li><li>Experience in project management and implementation.</li><li>Significant experience with capital project (>$5M) scope development, estimating, and execution.</li><li>Project Management Professional (PMP) designation is an asset.</li><li>Experience managing multidisciplinary teams or contractors (consultants, I&E, welding, fitting, crane, pipefitting, etc.).</li></ul>Our Benefits:<ul><li>Comprehensive medical, dental, and vision plans, plus well-being incentive.</li><li>Flexible spending account (FSA) or health savings account (HSA)</li><li>Paid Time Off (PTO), including new programs for parental leave, adoption, and volunteering.</li></ul><ul><li>401K plus automatic yearly company contribution.</li></ul>#LI-OnsiteFMLA:<a href="https://www.dol.gov/whd/regs/compliance/posters/fmlaen.pdf" target="_blank">https://www.dol.gov/whd/regs/compliance/posters/fmlaen.pdf</a> Employee Polygraph Protection Act<a href="https://www.dol.gov/whd/regs/compliance/posters/eppac.pdf" target="_blank">https://www.dol.gov/whd/regs/compliance/posters/eppac.pdf</a> <ul><li>Employees in Canada can learn more about their rights by viewing the <a href="http://laws-lois.justice.gc.ca/PDF/H-6.pdf" target="_blank">“Canadian Human Rights Act”.</a></li></ul> If you need any assistance seeking a job opportunity at CF Industries, or if you need reasonable accommodation with the application process, please call 847-405-2400 or contact us at talentacquisition@cfindustries.com.<a href="https://cfindustries.wd1.myworkdayjobs.com/en-US/careers/introduceYourself" target="_blank">JOIN OUR TALENT NETWORK</a>
