Title:

KBR is seeking a Tempory Electronics Technician to be part of a dynamic and diverse team, with a common goal of improving the world responsibly and safely. RESPONSIBLITIES:

• Performs a variety of complex technical duties including the fabrication, assembly, test, troubleshooting, analysis, evaluation, modification, and operation of complex electrical and electronic circuits and equipment in support of RF systems.

• Develops test plans and procedures, performs tests, and analyzes test data for validity.

• Perform system or component analysis.

• Develop deliverable end products from engineering documentation and drawings.

• Complex repairs including replacement of components parts based on troubleshooting results.

• Fabricates prototype and assembles complex components.

• Perform cable fabrication and integration of equipment into larger systems.

• Assists in design activities by compiling data related to the design, technical specifications and components materials needed for finished units.

• Utilize AUTOCAD to perform design changes and updates.

• Performs research on parts or equipment as required to assist engineering staff.

QUALIFICATIONS:

• Must have a Secret Clearance or the ability to obtain one.
• 8 years of experience with satellite communication systems including controllers, positioners, RF sub systems and components, antennas, receivers and frequency conversion units.
• 10+ years of experience is desired

Basic Compensation:

$40,000 to $93,6000

The offered rate will be based on the selected candidates knowledge, skills, abilities, and/or experience and in consideration of internal parity.

Additional Compensation:

KBR may offer bonuses, commissions, or other forms of compensation to certain job titles or levels per internal policy or contractual designation. Additional compensation may be in the form of a sign-on bonus, relocation benefits, short-term incentives, long-term incentives, or discretionary payments for exceptional performance
