Your work will be an important part of transforming our clients into the modern age and help them face any obstacle. ** Position is currently pending funding.** MEANINGFUL WORK AND PERSONAL IMPACT Build and customize applications on the ServiceNow platform, including ITSM modules like Incident, Problem, and Change Management Connect the ServiceNow platform with other systems and applications using technologies like REST/SOAP. Create custom scripts, including Business Rules and Script Includes, to automate processes and meet business requirements Perform administrative tasks, such as user and role management, system maintenance, and health checks Customize user interfaces, forms, and workflows to align with business needs Provide end-user support and troubleshooting for issues related to integrated processes and platform functionality Work with end users, stakeholders, and management to define and create reports, dashboards, and data analysis products Contribute to IT-related technical processes reviews, postmortems, and continual process improvement
WHAT YOULL NEED TO SUCCEED Bring your development expertise along with a drive for innovation to GDIT. Our ServiceNow Developer must have: Security Clearance Level: Active Secret clearance Required Technical Skills and Qualifications: 5+ years software development experience Experience with ServiceNow's data management tools such as Import Sets, Transform Maps, and the CMDB Experience in developing and customizing ServiceNow Platform applications and modules, especially ITSM Proficiency with integration methods like SOAP, REST, and web services, including creating and consuming them Strong scripting skills with at least one language preferably JavaScript Education: BS Degree Skills and Abilities: Proficient in designing, creating, and maintaining workflows and custom applications. Strong skills in creating and managing complex workflows using Flow Designer and other ServiceNow workflow tools. Ability to analyze requirements, troubleshoot issues, and develop effective technical solutions. Excellent understanding of the Agile software testing process and lifecycle, from smoke test to integration to production deployment Ability to identify, understand, document, and create functionality aligning with customer value streams Strong organizational and time management skills while working in a rapid software development environment Ability to identify and learn new technologies quickly Excellent communication skills for collaborating with both technical and non-technical stakeholders Strong analytical, problem-solving, and debugging skills Required Certifications: ServiceNow Certified Application Developer (CAD) ServiceNow Certified Systems Administrator (CSA) ServiceNow Certified Implementation Specialist IT Service Management (CIS ITSM) Position Availability: This position is currently pending funding. Location: Remote US Citizenship Required
Preferred Skills / Certifications: DoD 8570.01-M IAT Level II or III certification (e.g., Security+, CISSP, CISM) Experience supporting DoD classified systems in IL5 or IL6 environments
