Learn more at <a href="https://www.jnj.com/" target="_blank">https://www.jnj.com/</a>. We are searching for the best talent for Production Associate II (2nd Shift).You will be responsible for:<ul><li>Manufacture fiber optic sensors based on the following operations:</li><li>Handling 0.1 mm optical fiber</li><li>Removing fiber sheathing using chemicals</li><li>Optical Connector/Ferrule attach using epoxy</li><li>Connector/Ferrule polishing and inspection</li><li>Cleaning of optical components</li><li>Use of precision scale, chemical dispensing, and automated mixing equipment</li><li>Using tweezers to position, align and assemble 0.2 mm optical sensor to 0.1 mm optical fiber while working under a microscope.</li><li>Perform chemical tuning of optical sensor to performance criteria.</li><li>Positioning and bonding of 0.3 mm diameter tube to +/- 0.025 mm placement using tweezers and microscopes.</li><li>Using calibrated instruments, measurement equipment, microscopes, and test fixtures to test and inspect fiber optic components.</li><li>Perform routine maintenance and troubleshooting of vacuum test fixtures.</li><li>Accurate data collection, data entry and data review using electronic travelers.</li><li>Maintain clean room integrity by using proper attire and adherence to clean room environment practice and procedures.</li></ul>Qualifications / Requirements:Education:<ul><li> High School graduate or equivalent manufacturing experience required.</li></ul>Experience and Skills:Required:<ul><li>Detail oriented with experience in precise alignment of optical components while working under a microscope.</li><li>Great hand-eye coordination and dexterity skills for assembling very small components under a microscope.</li><li>2+ years of related work experience desired.</li><li>Ability to read, write, and speak English.</li><li>Proficient with Microsoft Office applications such as Word and Excel</li><li>Willing to work (3:30p-11pm)</li></ul>Preferred:<ul><li>Expertise working with Fiber Optics is a plus.</li></ul>Johnson & Johnson is an Equal Opportunity Employer.
