GDIT is seeking aCloudDeveloperin support of theDefense Information Systems Agency (DISA) Global Video Services (GVS) business area to enable the integration of video services into the Department of War.This is a hybrid role, and selected candidate will be expected to provide a combination of remote (20%) and onsite (80%) support in Chantilly, VA or Fort Meade, Maryland.
MEANINGFUL WORK AND PERSONAL IMPACT- Designing, documenting, implementing, andmaintainingenterprise Cloud Application capabilities to include IaaS, PaaS, and SaaS offerings for our DoW customers.
- Design and development of new software products.
- Provide guidance and leadership to the development team on designing complex software systems.
- Acts as a high-level technical expert and addresses issues relating to systems integration and compatibility.
- Works with project managers, developers, and end users to ensure application designs meet business requirements.
- Estimates size and schedule for software enhancements.
- Reviews existing programs andassistsin making refinements, reducingoperatingtime and improving current techniques.
- Responsible for program design, coding, testing, debugging,and documentation.
- Instructs, directs, and checks the work of other task personnel.
- Responsible for quality assurance review and the evaluation of existing and new software products.
WHAT YOULL NEED TO SUCCEED (Required)Bring your engineering expertise along with a drive for innovation to GDIT. The Cloud Developer must have:
Education: Bachelors Degree in related technical field.
Experience: 8+ years of related experience.
Security Clearance: Minimum of an active Secret security clearance.
Certification: CompTIA Security+ or similar for IAT Level II 8570 certification
Technical skills:- Expertisein developing,maintainingand contributing to technical and process documentation.
- Successful candidates must have a strong understanding of DoW Cloud governance and application architecturesrequiredto implement cloud services for DoW customers.Specific focus is onuser interface development forgovernment off-the-shelf interfaces.
- Expertisewith Microsoft Azure, Microsoft Office 365managementand configuration (Exchange, OneDrive, SharePoint, Office Suite,AzureAD).
- Experience in DoW Cloud Computing Security Requirements Guide.
- Expertisewith Enterprise Application Architecture Frameworks.
- Strong knowledge of modern UI frameworks and libraries.
- Experience inagile methodologies, especially related to release scheduling, andutilizingtools such as JIRA.
- Experience inDevSecOps.
- Proficiencyindeveloping and executing test plans.
