Patient Care Technician I

Job Description:
We are seeking a dedicated and skilled Patient Care Technician I to join our healthcare team. In this role, you will provide essential support to nursing staff and contribute to delivering high-quality patient care in a clinical setting. You will work closely with nurses, clinical coordinators, and nurse managers to ensure efficient and effective patient care operations.
Key Responsibilities:

- Assist nursing staff with direct patient care activities, including monitoring vital signs, assisting with mobility, and supporting daily living activities.
- Collaborate with nurses, clinical coordinators, and nurse managers to implement patient care plans and ensure continuity of care.
- Accurately document patient information and report any changes in patient condition to the appropriate nursing personnel.
- Maintain a safe, clean, and organized patient care environment in compliance with healthcare regulations and standards.
- Support clinical coordinators in coordinating patient care activities and managing workflow within the unit.
- Participate in training and development programs to enhance clinical skills and knowledge.
- Other duties as assigned.
Education & Experience
- Current Basic Life Support (BLS) certification required.
- Certified Nursing Assistant (CNA) license in good standing with the Maryland Board of Nursing required.
- Previous experience as a Patient Care Technician or similar role preferred.
Full Time Availability: Shift: 7:00pm- 7:30am. Every Other Weekend and rotating holidays required.
