Information Technology/Assurance (IT/IA) Specialist Ill
GENERAL DYNAMICSInformation Technology/Assurance (IT/IA) Specialist IIIGeneral Dynamics is seeking an IT Assurance Specialist and the Primary function is working within Special Access Programs (SAPs). The position will provide day-to-day support for Collateral, Sensitive Compartmented Information (SCI) and Special Access Program (SAP) activitiesPerformance shall include:Establish complex operational software configuration controls and system interfaces for computer system(s) assignedMaintain file servers, Firewalls, network access, Security Monitoring Systems and system documentation as requiredAnalyze and troubleshoot system anomalies to ensure optimum equipment performancePrepare system for operational use and support operational testsReview, prepare, and update authorization packagesNotify customer when changes occur that might affect authorization accreditationConduct cybersecurity portion of the self-inspections checklistReview and provide technical and cyber security coordination on all Bodies of Evidence that makeup the authorization packageIdentify any and all vulnerabilities and implement countermeasuresEnsure information systems and network appliances are operated, maintained, and disposed of in accordance with security policies and practicesPerform Video-Teleconferencing VTC System Administration, Scheduling, & ConfigurationProvide External Information System(s) Client SupportPerform account creations, changes, & deletions on multiple authorization boundariesPerform Help Desk & troubleshooting activitiesPerform Hardware/Software System Configuration, upgrades and modificationsPerform system and network appliance patching activitiesProvide Government-Issued Laptop SupportAssist in Media Control & Accountability activitiesPerform COMSEC account/equipment management activitiesExperience:8+ years related experience2+ years SAP experience requiredEducation:Bachelors degree in a related area or equivalent experience (4 years)Certifications:IAT or IAM Level II - within 6 months of hire (examples: Security+ CE, CCNA Security, etc.)Clearance Required to Start:TS/SCI requiredMust be able to Attain TS/SCI with CI Polygraph
